Solute™ descaling products have been developed for regular use in fully automatic coffee machines, espresso machines and filter machines of every make. Solute products contain additives that provide extra maintenance and protection for the delicate parts of your coffee machine.

The most common cause of defects in coffee machines is ‘hard water’ scale. Scale is not harmful for consumption because it contains calcium which is, in turn good for our bones. A good cup of coffee needs some calcium in the water. In Belgium and the Netherlands, the water contains a high percentage of calcium, so it is important to regularly descale all electrical appliances. By regularly descaling your machine, it will improve its lifecycle and keep it running in optimal condition.
